The IRTS tests missile approach warning systems (MAWS) without the need to fire real missiles. It allows you to easily simulate any radiation plume profile, including parameters that change, such as atmospheric conditions, speed of missile, and distance (up to 5 km away).
An integrated GPS synchronizes the IRTS to any other equipment used in the drill or experiment. The GPS can also synchronize between several IRTSs in order to have a true "Missile-Field" simulation.
With the optional radiometer, the IRTS gives a complete analysis of missile simulation on the one hand and testing the IR jammers on the other
